 We will begin our day journey from Marrakech to the Ourika Valley via the Atlas Mountains’ foothills after breakfast. We’ll follow the road through the Ourika Valley, then enter through a series of clinging mountain settlements. As we go through the hillsides, we will stop to admire the beautiful scenery with brilliant colors. Our first trip will be to a Berber family’s traditional home.

 They frequently welcome tourists who want to take in the sights and sounds of their surroundings; the family will offer us tea and serve us their traditional meal of bread, honey, butter, and olive oil. You will have the opportunity to ride camels for 30 minutes farther into the valley on the Ourika day excursion from Marrakech (not included).

 We’ll continue on our trip later to Setti Fatma, a popular weekend getaway for Moroccans. It’s recognized for its gorgeous streams, seven waterfalls, cliffs, and green valleys as well as its cliffs and green valleys.  After breakfast, we’ll begin our day excursion from Marrakech to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, via the Atlas Mountains and stopping multiple times to take in the breathtaking scenery. This scenic drive is made even more appealing by the meandering roads, varied landscapes, vibrant valleys, shepherds with their flocks, and Berber communities perched high on the mountain. We will reach Tizi N’tichka Pass (2260m), the Atlas Mountains’ highest point.

 After the Tizi N’tichka, we’ll take a side road to Telouet village and its Kasbah, or fortress, which was formerly home to the Atlas’s lords, the Glaoui family, and is now in ruins after the last Pasha fled the nation following the French’s departure. Later, we’ll proceed along the Ounila Valley’s riverbank to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

 Lunch is included, as is time to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which has been used to film numerous national and international films, including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. It was one of the most important fortress strongholds along the ancient salt road caravan routes, which carried slaves, gold, ivory, and salt from Sub-Saharan Africa to Marrakech and beyond. We return to Marrakech in the evening, drop you off at your accommodation, and conclude our services.
